Certified Angus Beef LLC News

Producer’s online CAB source

Producers won’t need the kids to help guide them through the latest online source for quality beef production. Certified Angus Beef LLC (CAB) has a newly redesigned presence on the Web, and the ease of navigation and logical organization will give producers the power to surf CAB information without a hitch.

CABpartners.com is the online resource for producers and industry leaders wanting to know more about raising quality Angus cattle for the CAB end point.

The new look features relevant marketing and management information for beef producers. The new site will build stronger marketing relationships that keep the consumer in focus throughout all facets of the CAB supply chain — seedstock Angus producers, commercial cow-calf producers and CAB-licensed feedlots.

The producer section offers information on fed-cattle marketing, identifying with the Certified Angus Beef® (CAB®) brand and ways to foster a beneficial information network with cattle customers.

An improved “About Us” section shares how CAB’s Supply Development Division works to benefit producers, including information on the brand’s eight quality-based carcass specifications. The section features an updated “Frequently Asked Questions” page and also has a history page with additional links to help producers understand more about how CAB became the world’s leading branded beef company.

Classic features have remained the same. Producers can still go online for information on feeding and marketing quality cattle through CAB-licensed feedlots, and newsroom information will continue to feature the monthly “Black Ink” and “Corner on Quality” columns.

Producers can also find profitable information on herd management by accessing the newsroom’s Black Ink Basics page that offers practical information on how adjustments in cattle health, percent of Angus genetics and disposition can increase profitability.

Future enhancements will continue to evolve. As the year progresses, more interactive features will be developed to better respond to producer concerns as they arise, and to gather input on new ideas that can help all of us satisfy more beef consumers.

The new educational opportunities provided by CABpartners.com will increase producer awareness, ability and commitment to supply cattle that qualify for the CAB® brand. Visit the site, explore the information available and feel free to offer any suggestions through the site’s “Contact Us” page.

CABpartners.com is an easy way to keep producers up-to-date and profitable in raising high-quality cattle for the CAB target.

Certified Angus Beef is the world’s leading brand of fresh beef. Since 1978, packers have paid producers more than $175 million in value-based grid premiums for cattle accepted into the brand. CAB recently recognized some of the nation’s top CAB-licensed feedlot partners and Angus producers during the company’s annual conference in Baltimore, Md.
