BIF Conference Kicks Off Tonight
BILLINGS, Mont. (July 6, 2005) Log on to www.bifconference.com at 7 p.m. MT to watch the opening kickoff of the 37th Annual Beef Improvement Federation (BIF) Annual Meeting. The National Association of Animal Breeders (NAAB) hosts the opening session, its biennial reproductive symposium, which will focus on how to get cows pregnant. Cliff Lamb, at the North Central Research and Outreach Center, University of MinnesotaGrand Rapids, will focus on how to get cows pregnant using gonadotropin-releasing hormones (GnRH) and CIDRs®. David Patterson, at the University of MissouriColumbia, will present new opportunities to synchronize estrus and ovulation, as well as facilitate fixed-time artificial insemination (AI). The 2005 BIF meeting is at the Holiday InnGrand Montana, Billings, Mont., July 6-9. Angus Productions Inc. (API) is providing real-time coverage of the event at www.bifconference.com. A new feature to the site, Brad Fahrmeier of Tailor Made is providing a live video and audio feed of the general presentation. So, watch the schedule for the sessions youre most interested in, and attend the meeting online.
