Louisville Preview

Members of the American Angus Association and Angus enthusiasts will gather Nov. 13-16 in Louisville, Ky., for events surrounding the 2004 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) — designated as this season’s National Angus Show.

All events will take place at the Executive West hotel and the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center (KFEC), beginning with the American Angus Auxiliary’s annual meeting Saturday, followed by the Angus Foundation Reception, an invitation-only event intended to honor Foundation donors. Sunday’s activities will include a breeders’ informational forum, an open meeting with Board candidates, an Angus Information Management Software (AIMS) workshop, the Auxiliary’s annual breakfast and an evening reception.

More than 360 delegates from 47 states will gather Monday afternoon for the 121st Annual Meeting of Delegates, where they will conduct Association business and elect officers and five members to the Board of Directors. An AIMS workshop for advanced users is also scheduled, as well as a social hour and awards banquet later that evening.
