Angus Foundation to Host 2nd Annual Donor Recognition Reception

The Angus Foundation is excited to announce its second annual reception to recognize those who have contributed to the Angus Foundation. The event, "Building Upon the Vision," will take place in conjunction with activities during the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) and American Angus Association Annual Meeting in Louisville, Ky.

Anyone making a contribution of $250 or more during the last three years or who has historically been a part of the Foundation Heifer Package or other special offering to benefit the Angus Foundation will receive an invitation to this year’s reception. Individuals, who would like to give can still secure their invitation by making a minimal gift of $250 to the Angus Foundation prior to the reception.

"As we strive to build the Foundation, this is one way to honor those who have laid the groundwork," says Milford Jenkins, director of development for the Angus Foundation. "It is also with great excitement that we will offer those in attendance the unique opportunity to purchase the Association’s 15th million registration number."

The reception is set from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Executive West. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served. In addition to recognizing donors, registration number 15,000,000 will sell at auction.
