Top Angus Genetics Offered at 2004 National Western Angus Bull Sale

Angus producers from 22 states have consigned some of their top Angus bulls to the 2004 National Western Angus Bull Sale. Fifty-four lots are consigned to the annual event during the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colo. The sale begins at 2 p.m. Mountain time, Thursday, January 15, in the Beef Palace Auction Arena.

A panel of five judges will evaluate the cattle earlier the same day, to establish sale order, starting at 8 a.m. in the Stadium Arena. The judges for this year’s show include Donald Bloom, Westville, Ind.; Jeff Gooden, Iberia, Mo.; Bruce Kiesewetter, Letts, Iowa; Lorna Pelton, College Station, Texas; and Kevin Yon, Ridge Spring, S.C.

The American Angus Association sponsors this annual sale, and regional manager Chuck Grove is the sale manager.
