GIPSA Livestock and Meat Marketing Study

The Grain Inspection Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA) will spend $4.5 million of its Fiscal Year 2003 budget appropriation to conduct a comprehensive study analysis of the livestock and meat marketing industries as mandated by Congress.

Today GIPSA posted the study proposal for comments on the Federal Register May 30, 2003. Please take a moment to review the outline of GIPSA's proposal in the attached PDF file. As noted in the attached document comments will be considered if received by June 30, 2003.
