Register Now For 2002 National Angus Conference & Tour

The 2002 National Angus Conference and Tour, which is set for April 23-26 in Sacramento, Calif., is just a few short weeks away. "Identifying the Value" is the theme for the event, which includes a one-day conference program and a two-day tour of a variety of Angus farms and ranches, as well as an award-winning vineyard and winery. The conference program includes some of the beef industry’s top speakers and will address current issues ranging from satisfying consumer demands to developing a successful herd marketing program. This is an event you don’t want to miss!

Early registration deadline is April 1 and cost is $85 per person, which includes most meals during the event and transportation for the tour. Registrations will be accepted after April 1, including walk-ins at the event, at an increased registration cost of $100 per person. You can register online with a Visa or MasterCard at www.angus.org, or contact Linda Campbell at 816-383-5143 or lcampbell@angus.org to request a registration form. A registration form can also be found in the pullout program that was included in the March 2002 issue of the Angus Journal.

The Hilton Arden West hotel will serve as headquarters for the event. A block of rooms has been reserved for attendees at a special rate of $85/room. The block will be held until April 1. After that date, reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only. To make a reservation, call the hotel directly at (916) 922-4700.
