American National Cattlewomen Introduce New Web Site

DENVER, CO — There is a new voice on the Internet for the cattle industry. The American National CattleWomen, Inc. (ANCW) recently completed www.ancw.org to provide a new source for information on the organization and its programs. Created through the combined effort of ANCW and the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA), the Web site has undergone many exciting changes.

Along with a new home page that invites you to continue through the Web site, ANCW has also added new information regarding the Beef Promotion Project and the American National CattleWomen Foundation. Additional plans are being made for a new Legislative Action Network page, which will outline issues important to the beef industry, and a new state sharing page, which will promote increased communication between ANCW state affiliates.

"The Web site will provide a new level of communication among the organization, its affiliates and those who want to know what we're doing and what we're about," said Judy LaGrone, ANCW president and a beef producer from Fouke, Ark. "We're excited about how this technology will help us deliver our messages."

The Web site will continue to provide access to up-to-date information regarding ANCW Membership, the National Beef Cook-Off®, the National Beef Ambassador Program, educational materials such as Wow That Cow! and upcoming ANCW events.
